Strategic Methods Course Management Classes We are having our FREE Strategic Methods of Course Management Classes. Session 2 will study the concepts of chipping on Saturday, June 2nd from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm – deadline for sign-ups is Friday, June 1st. PGA Class “A” Golf Professional Dave Elchin will be conducting the class, introducing everyone to strategic methods of chipping, understanding etiquette and the rules with other interesting information. Deadline for sign-ups is Friday June 1st. 9 hole Senior League Wednesday Mornings We are having our Wednesday Morning 9-Hole Senior League playing at 9:00, starting June 6, 2012. Come out and have some fun. Play with a different group each week. The league runs for 16 weeks (not the week of July 4th) with a 9:00am starting time. Entry fee of $165.00 includes starting times greens fees, handicapping, and year end luncheon with prizes. Deadline for sign-ups is Friday June 1, 2012. Ladies League Tuesday Mornings Thursday Evenings Sweet Water Golf Course is having a ladies league on Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings starting June 5, 2012. Deadline to sign-up is May 30, 2012. The league will run for 12 weeks (not the week of July 4th). Play with different ladies and different formats each week. This is a non-competitive league so come out and have some fun! Prizes are presented during final potluck dinner night on September 6, 2012. Entry fee of $190.00 includes greens fees for 9 holes each week, tee times on Tuesdays at 9:00am and Thursdays at 5:15pm. Entry fee also includes greens fees and prizes for winners. For more information visit our web site or call the pro shop at (215) 541-3111. 9 Hole Youth League Sweet Water Golf Course is hosting their 9 Hole Youth League for the twelfth year with junior play (ages 7-15 years) starting June 21, 2012. A Must Attend Orientation for ALL New Members and their parents prior to lessons and league play. Our weekly program offers your children the exposure to golf that will last a lifetime. This program gives juniors the opportunity to play 9 holes with other juniors, FREE lessons and clinics on etiquette, swing improvement, chipping and putting, different formats, and a yearend tournament with the caddie of their choice. The league runs for 7 weeks with a 7:30 am shotgun start. On August 9, 2012 we will end the league with a year-end tournament with caddies, food and prizes. New members are required to attend beginner classes starting Saturday, June 2nd or Sunday June 3rd , 2012 at 1:00 pm. Entry fee of $130.00 includes greens fees, lessons, clinics, stroke average totals, and the year end tournament with prizes.
